Following its successful participation in last year’s NoAE Innovation Competition, ENGIRO will take part in the 4th Electromobility Project Day. This year’s event will held at the CCD Congress Center Düsseldorf on 17 March, and is simultaneously the kick-off for the 5th NoAE Innovation Competition.
As one of 2010’s three Innovation Prize winners from the region, ENGIRO will showcase its entry in the Innovation Champions Arena: Dr. E. A. Werner will present his ultra-compact range extender for electric vehicles, which ultimately won over the jury with its extreme efficiency in generating electric power.
This event also marks the commencement of this year’s Innovation Competition. Unlike the previous competitions, 2011’s international innovation showcase is open to all mobility sectors – automotive, railway and aviation. The results of the competition will be announced in November 2011 as part of an international event focusing on innovations for mobility and electromobility.
In addition to the competition, the project day will offer institutes of higher learning, research institutions and innovative enterprises an opportunity to enter into a dialog regarding their electromobility projects in a total of 13 topic-focused market places. The aim of the concept is to effectively harness the synergy effects generated here and thus enable a more rapid realization of ideas in the form of concrete projects.
