Flexible production technology for electric machines is key to enable the transition to clean mobility in more and more applications. In the #hapipro2 project all partners are working on enhancing the flexibility of hairpin stator production far beyond the current state of the art. ENGIRO GmbH is supporting this task with its deep knowledge of e-motor design for applications, such as trucks, municipal vehicles and construction machinery.
On Friday, 20 th October 2022, we were very proud to see the real outcome of nearly 2 years of cooperative work of all partners in Cologne. Ford Motor Company the demonstration factory was officially opened by Mona Neubaur, the ministery of economy of Northrhine Westfalia. In the pictures you can see the 2 flexible stator designs for both truck and automotive applications, build on the same production line. What a great impulse for flexible e-motor production in Germany in general and especially for the industrial region of North Rhine-Westphalia.
